Sales in the SPF lumber market increased, leading to raised prices among producers. Southern pine lumber gained momentum, while coastal species lumber increased slightly. Inland lumber species continue to transition to a vibrant market. Radiata pine pricing remained stable. Ponderosa pine is firm and stable, and board producers report better demand. Eastern white pine producers have been able to moderately increase their prices, while western red cedar producers reported steady sales with little change.

OSB panels are recovering, albeit chaotically, while southern pine plywood mills raised prices modestly. Western fir plywood picked up noticeably, and prices rose accordingly as mills responded to demand from California, the Midwest, and the Northeast. Canadian plywood producers moved their prices sharply, and buyers moved with them. Particleboard purchasing slowed around the Fourth of July holiday.
