NBMDA and HPVA Partner for third successful Spring Convention!

NBMDA and HPVA partnered again this year for our Annual Spring Convention. The event was held in Portsmouth, Virginia on May 16-17 at the Renaissance Portsmouth Hotel and Waterfront Conference Center. The conference once again featured education sessions including speakers, industry forums and product training sessions and a host of social events.

CONVENTION PARTNER:

NBMDA's co-sponsor for the 2005 Spring Convention is the Hardwood Plywood & Veneer Association (HPVA) based in Reston, VA. HPVA represents the interests of the hardwood plywood, hardwood veneer and engineered flooring industries. HPVA member companies produce 90% of the hardwood plywood stock panels and 95% of the sliced hardwood veneer manufactured in North America. NBMDA SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
This year, NBMDA hosted a Leadership Weekend prior to the start of the Spring Convention. It included a Board of Directors meeting, Strategic Planning Session and several Committee Meetings. NBMDA also offered an NBMDA-only golf outing on Sunday afternoon May 15th at Bide-A-Wee Golf Course in Portsmouth.
