Spouse/Guest Events
NBMDA strives to offer spouses and guests of conference attendees the best in networking and special events. At the 2008 EMC, registered spouses/guests are entitled to attend all scheduled social and meal functions including two breakfasts, two lunches, and two receptions.
A specially designed NBMDA Spouse Package is scheduled for Thursday, May 8 and features the following:
General Stretch (similar to Yoga):
8:15 am - 9:15 am
An NBMDA group session for one hour which is designed to build, strengthen, balance and increase your flexibility by gently stretching and massaging the spine, muscles and joints. This is a low impact session perfect for all fitness levels.
Spa Breakfast
9:15 am - 10:00 am
After the yoga class, all spouses/guests will unite for a private spa breakfast within the hotel featuring healthy meal choices as well as an opportunity to get to know your fellow NBMDA spouses/guests.
Spa Treatment
10:00 am - 1:00 pm
A spa treatment designed to help you relax, unwind and recharge with a thirty minute Swedish massage. Times will be coordinated with you after you have registered for the event.

Suggested Attire
Casual attire is appropriate for all scheduled conference events. Suggested attire for men: cotton pants and sport shirt, no tie. Suggested attire for women: slacks and a sweater, a skirt and blouse, a walking shorts ensemble or casual dress. Light jackets are recommended for evening events.
Suggested golf attire for men: shirts with collars and sleeves, slacks, Bermuda or walking shorts. Tank tops, t-shirts, cut offs, bathing suits, jogging shorts, and jeans are not permitted. Suggested golf attire for women: Golf dresses, skirts, slacks, mid-length shorts and blouses. Halter-tops, t-shirts, bathing suits, tennis dresses, cut-offs, or extremely short shorts are not acceptable.

During May, the Hot Springs area average temperature ranges in the mid-70s for the high and in the 40s for the low.
