A quick conversation with President and CEO, Ken Harris.

How long have you been with A & M Supply Corp.?
Harris: I have been with A&M Supply since 1994. I started out as the Company's CFO and became CEO in 2002.

How long has A & M Supply Corp. been a member of NBMDA? Why did it join?
Harris: A&M Supply has been a member since 2005. We joined NBMDA as our business became more narrowly focused on the Cabinet supply industry and the Commercial and Industrial marketplace. Also, we wanted to expand contact with suppliers and to learn from other successful distributors ways to improve our business.

In what ways does NBMDA provide value to your firm?
Harris: Facilitates new business & increase sales

  • Is a forum to build relationships and trust with peers
  • Allows the Company to achieve more effective name recognition in the marketplace
  • Being part of a supportive group that offers advise in achieving our professional goals

Will you be attending the 2008 Annual Convention & Tabletop Business Session? If so, why?
Harris: Yes, definitely. To achieve the goals set out as to why we joined NBMDA. Also, with the economy so tenuous, we felt it is a particularly critical time to learn how companies are dealing with the market slowdown.
