Four Building Material distribution centers in Columbus, Ohio; Delphos, Ohio; Cincinnati, Ohio and Warren, Ohio. Five HVAC distribution centers in Columbus, Ohio, Lima, Ohio; Cincinnati, Ohio; Lucasville, Ohio and Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Customer base for Building Materials are Retail Lumber Dealers and for HVAC are Heating and Cooling Contractors. Building Materials primary product lines are Roofing, Siding, Insulation, Kitchen Cabinets, Flooring and specialty branded building products.

HVAC primary product lines are Rheem and Armstrong residential and commercial equipment and accessories. To gutters and downspouts and then building materials became the primary product focus during World War I.

The company became the first area distributor for Certainteed Asphalt roofing and the first distributor for Monsanto Vinyl siding, which are still today two primary product categories for the company. The company entered the HVAC business in 1970 as a result of its involvement still in the sheet metal business. The company remains an independently owned privately held company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.

Future:
The company is currently in the midst of a major expansion in Columbus, Ohio where they are building a new 250,000 sq. ft. warehouse to move the Columbus Building Materials division from their current 150,000 sq. ft. facility. The HVAC division will move to the old Building Material location which will continue to house the corporate headquarters.

Palmer Donavin desires to grow by adding products and valued added services for the current customer base and expand into contiguous geography either by acquisition or expansion.
