Annual Convention & Tabletop Business Session

The most effective means of directly tapping into the community of NBMDA distributors and exposing your products and programs to the movers and shakers of the distribution industry is to participate in the NBMDA Annual Convention & Tabletop Business Session held every November. This is our largest and best attended event of the year. It also features the most opportunities for manufacturers to efficiently interact with a large number of our distributor members.

NBMDA does not operate a trade show. Instead, we have chosen to develop an environment which is conducive to executive interchange between current and potential trading partners. This function is our Tabletop Business Session which is coupled with our Annual Convention each Fall. A condensed two-day format will ensure that your time is productive and your expenses are minimal. The focus of our event is on audience quality not quantity.

Membership Directory

NBMDA has developed an interactive directory of member data which will serve as a valuable resource in your sales and marketing campaigns. The web-based membership directory contains complete information on each distributor members including their headquarters and branch locations. Key executives are highlighted as well as their contact information including address, phone, fax and e-mail. The tool is completely searchable by member type, membership segment, geography and product code. This web-based directory is tied to the master membership database and is updated in real time making it far more valuable than any printed directory.

Discounted Products & Services

NBMDA provides a number of discounted products and services to our manufactuer members. Some of these national providers include Federal Express, Kinko's, Sprint, Enterprise Fleet Services, Boise Office Max, Yellow Freight and more. Advertising & Sponsorship Opportunities

NBMDA can be a great way to reach an audience of leading distributor decision-makers. Many members decide to utilize a number of exposure opportunities provided by the association to reach both customers and prospects.

NBMDA Education Foundation Development Program - Your company can become a sponsor of the NBMDA Education Foundation, and take advantage of a multi-level exposure campaign. This program bundles many of the services that associate members invest in throughout the year, in addition to sponsorship and exposure. What are membership segments?

NBMDA segments its membership into two categories based on the customer base that our distributor members serve. This segmentation enhances the networking experience and allows us to tailor our education and products to address specific issues impacting a unique marketplace. The Cabinet Industry Distribution Alliance (CIDA) consists of distributors and manufacturers selling primarily to custom cabinet shops, woodworkers, store fixture manufacturers, fabricators and the furniture industry. Click here to learn more about CIDA and review a roster of current CIDA members.
