One of the major challenges facing business owners is in providing a fair and adequate compensation and benefits package for employees. In trying to establish a sound compensation system, managers are continually looking for benchmarks. Even though compensation benchmarks are critical, developing such benchmarks has always been a very difficult undertaking in distribution. The 2014 Employee Compensation Study provides a solution to these problems.
In partnership with Profit Planning Group, NBMDA compiles a bi-annual report providing analysis of management and employee pay scales, employee benefits and sales policies across building material distributors. The robust report also compares against a broad spectrum of distributors across various industries outlined locally by hundreds of cities across the U.S. and Canada.
