NBMDA Board of Directors Announced

December 14 , 2007 (Chicago) - The North American Building Material Distribution Association (NBMDA) announced today its 2008 Board of Directors. Responsible for governing all affairs of the organization within its by-laws, the NBMDA Board is comprised of both Distributor and Associate members within the industry.

“The NBMDA Board of Directors represents a diverse group of industry professionals dedicated to all aspects of building material distribution,” commented Kevin Gammonley, NBMDA’s Executive Vice President. “With their varying skills and expertise we are well poised to continue the mission and values of the organization.”

Len Kopec of The Wolf Organization in York, Pa., will serve as President of NBMDA. Additional officers serving one-year terms include President-Elect Duane Lambrecht of Shelter Products, Inc., New Ulm, Minn.; Vice President Bill Delaney of Distributor Service, Inc., Carnegie, Pa.; Treasurer Mark Kasper of Amerhart Ltd., Green Bay, Wis.; and Immediate Past President Roger Debnam of Wurth Wood Group, Charlotte, North Carolina.

Serving three-year terms as Distributor Directors are Carl Liliequist of Honolulu Wood Treating Co., Kapolei, Hawaii; Tom Mauss of Louis and Company, Brea, Calif.; Brian Schell of Parksite Plunkett-Webster, Apex, North Carolina.; Harold Tiemstra of Can Cell Industries, Edmonton, Alberta; Marty Wojick of Atlantic Plywood Corporation, Woburn, Mass.; and Ken Harris of A&M Supply, Pinellas Park, Fla.

Associate Directors serving one-year terms are Chas Koop of Armstrong, Lancaster, Pa. and Rick Liddell of VT Industries, Inc., Holstein, Iowa. Those serving two-year terms are Dave Clark of Dow Building Solutions, Crystal Lake, Ill. and Wave Oglesby of Columbia Forest Products, Greensboro, North Carolina.
