The business and affairs of the Association are managed and controlled by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors consists of the Executive Committee and ten additional directors, broken down into four Distributor members and six Associate members.
The Executive Committee of the Association consists of the President, President-Elect, Vice President, Treasurer and Immediate Past President. One associate director per year serves as a non-voting member of the Executive Committee.
NBMDA also has two active standing committees representing two of the membership segments within the association, including the Cabinet Industry Distribution Alliance (CIDA) Segment Committee and the Specialty Building Products Division (SBPD) Segment Committee. The NBMDA committees meet at least twice a year to discuss ideas and plan special projects specifically geared toward their segment to help better NBMDA and its membership.
