All volunteer leaders are supported by a full-time headquarters staff comprised of professionals specializing in all aspects of association management. NBMDA has retained the nation's premier association management firm, SmithBucklin Corporation, to professionally manage all of the association's affairs.

Overall management of the association’s activities and staff under the direction of the NBMDA Board of Directors.
Gretchen Fox, Operations Manager
Manages day-to-day Association and Education Foundation operations. Liaison to the SBPD & CIDA Steering Committees.
Kari Aylward, Member Services Coordinator
Manages the day-to-day financial activity. Maintains database and reports. Coordinates all mailings. Manages registration for all meetings. Manages all spouse activities.
Iain Thomas, Convention Sales Manager
Manages sales and selection of conference booths for Annual Convention.
Sarah Stauffer, Convention Manager
Coordinates activities of all third party vendors working on the annual meetings with a primary focus on hotel specifications, food/beverage and entertainment. Supports efforts in investigating and negotiating future meeting sites.
Kelly Zaharski, Convention Coordinator
Assists in the coordination of conference booth sales, meeting participation, advertising and sponsorship sales.
Tommy Thornton, Information Technology Services Manager
Manages all project specific and development related to IT and upgrades to NBMDA's operating systems.
Tracy Schorle, Marketing and Communications Manager
Manages the development, design and printing of all communication and promotional material in addition to media relations.
