Benefits of Membership
NBMDA provides its members with tools and knowledge designed to help them effectively and profitably fulfill their role in the distribution channel. All areas of the distribution process are addressed, including inventory management, warehousing, credit and collections, transportation, finance, etc. The association also offers several opportunities throughout the year for distributors and suppliers to meet face-to-face to develop and strengthen relationships, investigate solutions to common challenges and learn about new developments in the industry. NBMDA's Education Foundation provides additional educational benefits and resources.
Additionally, NBMDA actively promotes the distribution function through industry publications and by serving as a collective voice on behalf of the membership on key industry issues. Through its affiliation with the Washington-based National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW), NBMDA keeps its members informed about legislation impacting their business.
